The "Board of Engineering Students of Technology" from Coimbra challenged the IPn space team to promote the "BEST Space Day", and the result was just Spacial!
More than 20 students from engiinering,m physics and other science fields got together during 2 days to learn more about space, as well as about businesses powed by space.
Not just scietific talks, powered by University of Coimbra teachers, were enriching, but also more business oriented talks were enlightening for the pool of students seeking for future job opportunities.
ESA BIC Portugal and Astropreneurs H2020 project (@astropreneursh2020) promoted a hands on workshop based on a space technology - how to create a business case out of eLISA mission technologies? LusoSpace, our invited partner presented their eLISA technology (https://www.lusospace.com/elisa/) and challenged the students to think out of the box!
We had also the priviledge to have the online presence of Prof. Olivier de Weck, from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics - Massachusetts Institute of Technology sharing his expertise and knowledge about the "Development of a commercial space technology roadmap".
