In the past 3 days ESA Space Solutions Centre Portugal went to Bremen, we could not miss the Space Tech Expo Europe.
Gathering industry primes, engineers, reserachers, investors as well as policy makers, this European space exhibition allowed us to get updated on the space sector, as well as to meet some of our partners and strengthen partnerships.
Portugal Space Agency was represented by Luis Serina, with the inspiring message of Space democratisation along with the ambitious national targets for teh upcoming years.
The downstream sector was also well debated – a session hosted by Tony Sephton from ESA Business Applications – and opportunities for startups within the space sector were fully described. Both ESA harmonization (Marco Freire) and SME Office (Jens Kauffmann) were well represented and not doubts remained on how can startups profit from ESA support tools (tech and fund-related).
Our project Astropreneurs H2020 had the great opportunity to reinforce the power of the network.
